I'm sorry!!

You guys don't know how bad I feel about not posting. It just beaks my heart, but I've been busy with school starting and a whole bunch of other life issues going on, but now I'm back!! I'm sorry, from now on I'll try and keep up to date here!! Also, I have like extreme ADD so that's why I've been so distracted as well. BUT ANYWAYS!!! nothing really interesting's happened yet. well, Unless you count school starting, making a ton of new friends, maybe getting a sort of lead role in musical theatre [after being all depressed because I'm away when the big production's going on], going to Australia in December, and getting myself a boyfriend. I think I forgot to mention that I'm gay when me and Darleen started this Blog :P sorry guys. But yeah, This school year looks like it's gonna be amazing! And hopefully sometime early next year I'll be able to go and visit some of the awesome friends I met in Jamaica who live in the USA [But Canada's waaaayyyyy better ;) ]
ANYWAYS I gotta get going, people to see places to go and all that jazz, BUT I WILL POST MORE OFTEN OKAY?! and If I don't, you guys can tell Darleen to slap me or something for breaking a promise

Thank Goodness

I was beginning to think that Jack had totally left us - and me - to do this blog all by myself!  In fact I was even thinking of perhaps shutting it down because I know I'm not interesting enough to keep a blog going all by myself.  But now that Jack is more or less back (That rhymed!) I won't be needing to shut anything down or to stop my silly rantings on the interwebs.

So lately I've been a little busy with being sick and stuff so I haven't been up to too much and Ralph isn't very pleased that I haven't come to visit him.  He said that I'm not paying him enough attention, but it's not entirely my fault I was stuck in the middle of nowhere and then when I got back became rather ill!  And anyway, that awesome summer camp that Jack is going to, I too was supposed to go to that, but backed out on account of I missed home... A LOT.  I'm a little ashamed to admit it, but my bed is just sooooo comfy!!!!  ;)

Anyway, I told Ralph that if he really wanted to spend more time with me he could have swam up to the middle of nowhere seeing as the middle of nowhere had a wonderful ocean view.  Then we got into a fight and he's gone off to the Mediterranean Sea or somewhere to cool off.  I don't know, you think I was too harsh on him?  I hope not, he's a great friend and I love him dearly it was just a little spat I hope he's not too mad at me...

If you recall in one of my stories I wrote about Squid.  Do you remember?  Oh well either way, I asked him to go after Ralph and try to sort out this whole thing because I can't exactly go galavanting off to the Mediterranean right now...

Okay, so maybe I could go off galavanting to the Mediterranean, just don't tell anyone, especially not Jack, he'd be mad I didn't bring him back anything even though the trip wasn't exactly for pleasure.  But anyway when I got there via plane, I went immediately to the shore and called for Ralph.  He didn't come right away so I just sat there for a while and waited for him.  When he finally showed up he wasn't too happy that I was there...

"What are you doing here?" Ralph asked me.

"I just thought I'd come for a visit, you know see the world and stuff," I replied casually.

"Why are you really here?"

"Because I'm sorry."

"And?"

"And I promise to spend more time with you, no more trips to the middle of nowhere... except Christmas, but I'll be sure to get you a great gift.  How does that sound?"

"Alright I suppose, but I want you to know that I really missed you."

"Aww Ralph, I missed you too!"

We then went on such a great adventure in Europe that I can't even bring myself to write it all down in the contents of the interwebs... Of course it may have something to do with the fact that then it would turn into a story and those are mine and I'm very secretive about my stories and don't want them stolen.  Perhaps when we get copyright and such I will put all of my stories back on here.  But for the time being you will just have to use your imagination to come up with the amazing times that we had in Europe ALL BY YOUR SELF.  Can you imagine that?!  Didn't think so. ;)  But ralph and I are all sorted out now and I'm going to go meet him down at the beach tomorrow for a swim.  Keep your eyes out, who knows where we might go.  Perhaps England?

Sorry guys...

Sorry about being so lame and not posting anything guys :/ but at the moment, as Darleen told you, I'm in Jamaica, which means that people aren't really letting me on the computer...well, unless it's at 3 in the morning, but then I'm usually concentrating on getting into Pottermore, which is really frustrating. I was all like "ok, it's 3 a.m. here, I'm gonna go to bed because the clue is supposed to come out at like 7, so I'll wake up then" and guess what! The clue came out at THREE FREAKING THIRTY IN THE MORNING, and you know what? The whole thing closed at like 6:45. Please, please kill me.

So anywho, I'm done ranting about that now...hopefully...so other stuff I've done on my vacation!!

I've gone swimming with the dolphins, snorkeling with the sting rays and holding them and stuffs, riding around the island with the rest of my fam [minus Darleen :'( ] to go and visit some relatives that I'm not sure what to call because they're related to my other sister's husband and it's like *thinking about it makes my brain hurt and shtuffs* so they're like my...half...step..cousins..or uncles...or something...anyways, moving on!

On Wednesday, sadly, I am leave wonderful Jamaica (but I've been here for such a long time, so it's about time I left)  but then the day after I get to go to an AMAZING summer camp!! so I'm all excited. it's gonna be really great.

So I'm being kicked off the computers now... (see Darleen, people won't let me on. THAT'S my excuse of why I haven't been posting stuffs. IN YOUR FACE!) I'll try and post something when I get back from the summer camp, seeing as how they don't have computers, it would be a little hard to do that there...

The Middle Of Nowhere

I've been stuck in the middle of nowhere since the 5th of July.  That's my excuse for not writing anything in the past... month-ish.  Jack has no excuse because I know for  fact that he had perfectly good computers with him.  He's in Jamaica.  He still deserves no excuse because I write most of the stuff on here and all of the good stuff.  ;)  Haha, just kidding.  Don't kill me Jack.  So anyways while I've been pent up in the middle of nowhere it seems that I've missed out on a whole lot of stuff.  'Course I'm not back yet, but I've found a perfectly usable computer and felt bad about leaving you all to waste and wither away without my witty humor.  No I'm just kidding I know you don't need me, it just helps me feel better if I can convince myself that you do need me.  So back to being in the middle of nowhere... Yeah, nowhere is boring.  Don't ever travel there unless you like staring at blank walls, which I did enjoy, but no longer do.  Unless that blank wall has drying paint on it, that would certainly make nowhere much more interesting.  That's right the only way for nowhere to get interesting (and this is a long shot) is if they were to paint a wall so that people could watch it dry, that is just how boring it is here.  Well there... I'm not actully there anymore but I'm going back there in.... 6 hours-ish give or take.  Right now I'm in a little place called Cumberland, nice name no? ;)

ALL OF THE TIME!  That's really the only not fun part.  I just thought that y'all should know the pros and cons of no longer having hair lest you ever feel the need to join me.

Fun with Syllables and Octagons

So if you read that as syllables and octagons, then you are mistaken.  You are putting the em-PHA-sis on the wrong syll-AH-ble.  It's actually pronounced as syll-AH-bles and oc-TAH-gons.  You know, like dragons combined with octopi.

So as we were walking to school today, Jack and Darlene- us, we started to think how cool it would be if we could just open a dimension and have an adventure on our walks.  So we decided to try it.  This is the totally true and not at all made up way that things happened this morning.\


As we were walking down the street we decided that to make things more interesting we would go to the dimension of Crouf.  In Crouf there are octagons and squirds.  An octagon is an octopus crossed with a dragon. They are pretty terrifying and should never be messed with.  Now a squird is a cross between a squid, and a bird.  They too are very dangerous and should not be messed with.

When we entered Crouf, we were immediately met by a monk who told us we were the chosen saviors of their land.  Sort of like Hyrule.  Ya know, like Link from Legend of Zelda, only there's two of us.  The monk quickly told us the monster's stat's and then told us to "get on with it already."  Rude, no?  Yeah well so we began to fight the octagons and squirds, which was very difficult.

The octagons and squirds almost beat us but we ran off to heal and go get some skills from the skills shoppe down the road.  When we got to the skills shoppe, we found out that our skills did not follow us from our past dimension and we had to start over again.  Luckily for us every time we hit the octagons or squirds we gained 7 points for using a sword, 3 for damage, and 5 because we're us.  So after our fight with the octagons and squirds we had racked ourselves up quite a few points.  The only problem was that everything in that dimension cost 12 times more then it did in our old dimension so we still didn't have enough!  But then the monk appeared to give us hints because we had leveled up during our fight with the octagons and squirds. The monk said to us, "You, young ones can now bring anything out of your imagination into reality." We squealed with joy and ran around the store picking up skills we wanted.

When we got the the register the store clerk looked at us and our piles of skills dubiously.  We immediately imagined bags of skills points behind our backs and offered them to the clerk.  After we had finished purchasing our skills we went back out to fight the octagons and squirds.  We killed them all in under 5 minutes.  Then Jack said, "Hey, I wonder what would happen if I were to imagine a giant man eating Sasquatch who couldn't be defeated by any tool of destruction built before now..."  And of course it appeared out of Jacks mind and started tearing apart the whole town.

Word got around that it was Jack who created the monster and a giant mob chased us out of their dimension shouting, "YOU TERRIBLE NINJAS!!!  NEVER COME BACK HERE, EVER AGAIN!!!"

So we left their dimension and came back to ours.  Right in front of our school.

"Being ninjas was fun while it lasted, at least," Darlene said.

"Yeah.  Too bad we can't ever go back," Jack replied.

"Maybe one day they'll forget about us..."

"It was a man eating Sasquatch that couldn't be destroyed."

"You're right.  We'll go back after school."

I-Tunes Store

Have you ever wanted to just leave the house while your on the computer and then someone calls you up?  Yeah well this happens to me all the time, the only difference is, it's normally Jack, and he's normally telling me about the new free song on i-tunes that comes up once a week.  Yes I know, boohoo, I only go out once a week. :P  Back to the problem at hand.

So Jack calls me up and says, "Oh My Goody-two-shoes!  Darlene, you HAVE to get this song!!!  Oh and get this..."  Pause for dramatic effect, "IT'S FREE!!!"

That right there, those two words (actually two combined words and one real one), get me every time.  You see I have a sore spot for free things and/or things that are cheap.  Whether they are actually crap stuff and I will probably never use it, read, play with it, whatever.  I will purchase it if it is cheap, or better yet, free.

So I kick off my shoes and run wildly over to the recently shut off computer, click the on button and wait 15 minutes.  Once the computer is on,  I randomly click the i-tunes button hoping that it will open today and not tell me that I need an up-date.  If I'm lucky it will open another 5 minutes after clicking it.  That's already a total of 20 minutes.  Once it's open I click on i-tunes store, and wait for that to load.  The whole while I'm anxiously hopping from foot to foot awaiting this "awesome song".  Once it's loaded I will scroll down to the bottom where the free stuff is and click the right song, or what I hope is the right song.  I wait 20 minutes for a 2 minute song to load. 


FINALLY I can listen to it.  I click play and the music comes on...  These are my emotions as follows.

Thank you, Jack. And slow moving computer my day has just gone by and I'm still in the house.

So Raygunn and I were discussing the idea of a real live i-tunes store.  That's right, in the physical world that we could leave the house and feel, hear, touch, see, and if need be, taste.  Think about it!  Instead of waiting for the computer to do it's sh*t you can just waltz on over there and purchase it with cold hard cash!  You wouldn't need to remember a stinking password, just show them your face and tell 'em how to spell your name.  How much nicer would it be if you could just walk over there and grab the free song off the shelf go up to the cashier give them your name and leave.  Not only would that save your butt from doing extra work, (meaning sitting) but you would get to leave the house!  Maybe they'd even sell those cool shirts with the apple sign on them, and stuff like that.  I'm just saying that I'd feel more implied to purchase things from i-tunes if it were real instead of virtual, then you don't have to bother going out and looking for a place that sells i-tunes cards.  Find a random $5 in your pocket?  To the i-tunes store!!!  Is that another penny on the ground, bringing my penny count up to the mandatory .99?  To the i-tunes store!!!  Pirating music would be silly, you could take the time, get off your lazy @$$ and purchase some t-shirts while getting all the latest music!

Blogging is Hard.

No, seriously.  If you don't believe me try it for yourself.  I know that it looks easy, but it's really not.  There are many reasons and I'm going to list as many as I possibly can...

• Finding the time.  I'm not really all that busy, but I must tell you that facebook is way too addicting for me.  If it could stop being addicting, that would be cool with me.
• Knowing what to write.  Sometimes I'll know exactly what to write about and how, that is, if I find the time.  It's hard not to treat this like an on-line diary and tell the world everything...not that I actually have much to say.  
• Treating like a blog.  It's hard, you can't treat this like an on-line diary because, lets face it.  Those are stupid.  And my friends read this, they aren't allowed to know that my rough exterior is just that, an exterior.  They also can't know that I love them and stuff... oh shoot, did I just...
• Not looking like an idiot.  I think that speaks for itself.
• Proper grammar.  I can't stress this point enough, I know Jack has terrible grammar and you're all just going to have to put up with it, but me?!  Call me out on it, please!!!  Learning is good, I promise I won't bite your head off if you're right.  I make no promises if you're wrong.

Yeah, so that's all I can come up with right now... Perhaps I'll find more later.

Why i've been MIA

Hey internet peoples, I realized that i've been MIA for the last little while so i'll fill you in about what's happened in my life.

So when I was sick that while ago, it turned out that I had pneumonia. Then, to top it all off, a little while ago I blacked out and had to go to the hospital!!!! fun adventures. I'll explain.

Me, Tara, and Ron decided to go swimming. We arrived at the pool and got changed and everything, then Ron and I waited in the pool until Tara, Being the slowpoke that she is at getting changed, waltzed over to us. We chatted for about  half an hour about random stuff like clubs, raving, and life in general, until we decided to go into the hot tub. We sat in the hot tub for 15 minutes before we decided that, again, we wanted to switch pools. I stood up slowly and rested against this half-wall thing in-between the hot tub and some showers when it started happening.

What I remember is that, I suddenly had tunnel vision,  and then everything went black, then suddenly everything was sideways, people were going "WOAH!!!" in worried and frantic voices, then I remember feeling myself hit the water. Suddenly I was sitting on the stairs with people like "OMG ARE YOU OK?!" and i was like "of course i am, why wouldn't I be?" because I didn't actually remember what happened until later, so i was just confused as to how I got on the steps.

A couple seconds later a lifeguard rushed over with an oxygen tank and made me lean against the wall while she took down information about me. It was all very frustrating because she wanted me to tell her things but keep the mask on, which was very hard to do. Here's how it went.

Lifeguard: "so what's your name?"
Me: *removes air mask* "it's Ja-"
Lifeguard: "please sir, keep the mask on"
Me: "mhf mmffffhhh"
Lifeguard: "I'm sorry what?"
Me: *takes off mask again* "I said, it's jack"
Lifeguard: "sir, I asked you to please keep the mask on. don't take it off"

That continued for ab out 10 minutes before I turned to Tara, took off the mask, and said

"Tara, you answer the stupid questions.I'm tired of arguing with the lifeguard, and Ron isn't much help hitting on the other lifeguard"

You see, Ron hits on just about everyone. Guys and girls alike. So this wasn't abnormal. Although, I don't think he would have been much help anyways considering he doesn't really know much of the information about me that they were asking for.

They called my parents and they freaked out ans stuff, then they were forced to take me to the hospital, only to wait for three or fourish hours to take blood tests, and electrocardiogram, and x-rays, only to tell me that i was completely fine and could go home. The only information that they gave me other than that I was completely fine (which was wrong, by the by. When I fell, I landed on the corner of the hot tub with my tailbone, then fell on some lady. good times. Then i decided to go to gymnastics two days later!! so painful...) and that it most likely happened because i'm in recovery from pneumonia.

It was a...weird experience...to say the least. I wouldn't suggest blacking out anytime soon. Hopefully i'll be able to post more (and a lot of intresting stuff happens really soon!!) well bye internetarians!!!!!!!!

Seasons

I noticed something yesterday that I had never noticed before.  If you were to play a years worth of seasons backwards the only difference would be: flowers un-bloom, instead of leaves falling and changing colour in fall they would float back up to the tree and change colours, and the leaves on trees would grow back into the trees in Spring instead.... oh and precipitation would fall backwards.  Other than those few differences there's not much else different, it would still slowly get colder before winter, and slowly get warmer afterwards.  Summer would still be warm and winter would still be cold.  Just Minor Differences.
