Being sick is one of my least favorite things to do...

Hey all yous internet folks out there on this wonderful blog!!

So as you guys can all probably tell by the title of this blog, I am sick. Being sick is the worst thing in the world to me because when I get sick, I get really sick (At least from my perspective anyways) take now for example. I've been sick for the past...I estimate at about 4 days  now, probably a little longer because i'm terrible at anything to do with math terms.

So I was babysitting my older sisters three kids for the night and I started getting a massive headache or migraine or whatever you call it. Me, being full of great ideas and whatnot, decided to turn on the TV so I could fall asleep on the couch, wrong decision. As soon as it was on the speakers blasted out my eardrums, making my head whatever a whole bunch worse. After writhing in pain for a couple minutes on the couch and flinging my arms in all directions looking for the remote I threw across the room, I opened my eyes and saw it lying on the floor beside the monster sounds generating machine.

I rolled off the couch, determined to roll at the remote and somehow run over it with a pointy body part. Well, I succeeded in running over the remote, except I hit the surround sound button. I had finally had enough and attacked the TV, shutting off every power button I could see and finally, the monster died. I decided to go to bed because I was convinced at that point i was dying, and Sister didn't tell me where the Advil and such were

To this day I am lying on my floor in a sleeping bag, over heating but freezing to death and wasting away whilst puking, wondering if i'll die in the night

Night fair blog readers!! lets hope i make ti through the night...

Movie Review/SPOILER

Be alert.  I'm warning you now that this is a spoiler of the movie Sucker Punch if you haven't seen it.  If you haven't seen it then read no further because you need to see it.  Now onto my review of it.  It was very action filled I rather enjoyed that, but the guy who runs the insane asylum, there was no need for the creepy mustache we already understood that you were creepy and we needed to keep an eye or two on you.  Now I have a few mixed feelings about Rocket's death scene.  I did enjoy the fact that it was tied in with the real world because of the music, it's sad that the cook didn't really get reprimanded the way I would have hoped.  I hoped that the creepy mustache guy was going to give him a lashing right on screen and I was totally okay with that.  Now moving on to the topic of Blondie and What's-Her-Name's deaths.  Not. Okay.  Seriously you couldn't come up with something better than that?!  That was just wrong.  All that action and exploding stuff and you couldn't make that more interesting you just had to shoot them in the head, you stupid mustache guy.  What a loser, and then he goes on to say, "Here I don't like guns."  And hands the gun back over to one of his many goons.  Not.  Okay.  The ending, now that was interesting.  I don't think that she should have been lobotomized, I feel it would have been better if the Polish lady came in just before it happened and saved her by saying, "I never signed this." Then she would have gone back and the end scene where creepy mustache guy gets arrested still happens, just right when he's ABOUT to kiss her.  He should not have been allowed to kiss her.  My personal favorite part was when Batman, who's not really Batman, comes out of her imagination and helps the last girl get home to her parents to tell them that Rocket loved them.  All in all, a very good movie.  I give it 4.5 stars.

A day in Vancouver with some awesome people!

Hey internet buddies! jack here!

So yesterday, I went on a trip to Vancouver to visit some AWESOME friends!! Curtis, Marcus, and Sean were there! it was awesome. Me, Tara, Little Petey, and Martin went over for the day. Martin and LP slept over at my house to make commuting to the ferry a bunch easier for all of us, and Tara's mom picked us all up and got us to the 7 am ferry (which is really early by the way, especially considering the fact that I got to sleep at like 4 am. Sleep deprivation is not a fun thing by the way) and we all hadn't had breakfast so we had some then. I ended up only having two pieces of sushi and a tiny chocolate milk carton...but  who cares! food is food, right?...even if you're still hungry afterwords...so at about 8, I started texting Curtis to see if he was awake, because that was what i was supposed to do. He didn't answer. at all. So we all got to the sky train and met up with Marcus, Curtis still hadn't answered anyone. Marcus had told us that another friend who was supposed to meet us couldn't come, it sucked because we all anted to see him! but i guess it'll have to wait till next time :(

So we all were franticall calling Curtis, knowing he probably wouldn't wake up till like 1 if his alarm didn't wake him up. No such luck. He didn't answer. We continued on the sky train hoping that he would wake up, and i got a call from him about half an hour later. turns out  his alarm didn't go off so we walked around oakridge shopping center for an hour waiting for him and Sean to get there.

We went to subway because the majority (not me) was hungry. Then Tara wandered off so I went to find her, then I got distracted by awesome clothes. Yes. Awesome clothes.

As of late, i've wanted to get myself a messenger bag, because they're awesome, also I have become (only slightly mind you) obsessed with scarfs (ok,a bit more than "a little" but whatever) but everyone says that I need to dress more suavely, and i could pull it off according to them. So this out fit was perfect for me. it had a messenger bad, scarf, and EVERYTHING.

so eventually everyone got there and we took to the streets! which had a st patties day parade on it. so we left. Later on we went to north Vancouver to  meet up with Curtis' friend Travis, who is AWESOME! and his laugh is great. It's the kind that makes you laugh just because you're listening to it! so we walked around for awhile and eventually it came time to leave.

Leaving is always the saddest part when it comes to friends that live far away

But! before we left, we went on a SPIRAL ESCALATOR!!!! it was awesome. So we all hugged and said our goodbyes to one another and got on the bus that would take us to the 7pm ferry home

All in all it was an amazing day, and i hope we can all get together again!

Jack out!

A New Friend

I made a new friend the other day on my way home from dance class.  He doesn't talk, but he's super nice, and I like him A LOT.  But not too much, considering he lives in the stars.  I don't know his name because he doesn't talk and I can't seem to come up with a suitable one for him.  Fro this post I'll call him...Kyle.  Kyle is sweet and silent and knows all of my deepest darkest secrets.  Sometimes at night I'll just sit up late staring out my window and talking to him, even if I can't see him through my window, I know he can hear me.  But because he doesn't talk our conversations are very one sided, I wish he'd talk back.  He's in the shape of a T-rex, and I just think he's the best.  I thought I'd let y'all know about him, that way if you ever saw a T-rex in the stars you'd know it was Kyle and that he's the best secret-holder in the world because he doesn't speak.  Te quiero, Kyle. <3

Writers block and other everyday problems.

hey all, it's Jack

Sorry if I ramble on about problems here for today. But I kinda feel like it today. Nowhere else to put it anyways.

So when i've grown, to whatever extent that may be, mentally and/or physically, I would like to get a book published. I write poetry a lot and have had many ideas for books. In fact, at this very moment, I am in the middle of writing a book, but I seem to have writers block. It's a terrible thing really. I've explained the idea to a couple people but no ones actually read any of it. You see, i'm very critical of my own work and often end up hating it (or losing it, which is just as bad in my opinion) which is why not very many people see my work. I don't even think that Darleen's seen my book yet (which I should probably show her soon, to get her opinion on things) So I hope she reads this and reminds me tomorrow.

Now onto the next subject. I have taken up the musical instrument called the guitar for a couple different reasons. I think that the guitar is an attractive instrument, in the way that anyone who plays it (the acoustic guitar mind you) automatically becomes more attractive. don't know how that works, but in my mind it makes sense, if you can understand that. numero dos. The acoustic guitar sounds amazing. I love all acoustic songs because they are the best and deserve to be praised. Next, I'm learning it so that I can write songs. I've tried and it never worked before, but I figure that since whenever I strummed the D chord I got ideas for books, that I could write songs. Also i'm doing it to impress a certain someone...BUT ONTO OTHER MATTERS!

The matter of making a band. We've decided on songs to sing (that they want me to sing) and i'm ok with that because I LOVE THE SONGS (they were my choice, just saying ). Also, i've accepted the fact that people think my voice is great, they can have opinions.

Me on the other hand...

Well I think that my voice is terrible, but i'm willing to put that aside to sing for the band...i think...but if i'm ever going to become a famous singer/author/world traveler, i'm going to have to get over that. Maybe the guitar will help me with that...

So that was me rambling on about my problems/things I have an opinion on. I guess i'll sign off here.

Have an amazing lurasp day internet peoples!!!! Jack OUT!

Nothing New

Yeah okay, I get it.  These whole "Sorry but there's really nothing to talk about" blogs are total crap.  But seriously, I may talk a lot, but there is NOTHING to say.  Give me a topic and I'll write a nice little rant for you. Pinky Swear.

No Big Deal.

Been a while

Yeah so Jack was right it has been a while since we've posted anything.  Especially anything together, and unfortunately there's not a lot we can do about posting together.  I was sick for a  little while but I'm over it now. I've also noticed how we haven't really put any pictures or videos up for a while.  So I'm just going to put up this beautiful picture that makes me laugh EVERY time because I have absolutely NOTHING to say.

Vancouver and my Van friends.

Hey all, it's Jack!

Looks like neither me nor Darleen has posted anything in awhile! I guess it's up to me to fix that.

So today I went to Vancouver with Tara to hang with her boyfriend Marcus one of me awesomest lurasp friends Curtis. i got the 7 ferry with Tara and was really tired. I've started writing a book (which i LOVE by the way. and apperently the D chord on the guitar gives me inspiration to write books) and on the ferry I needed a pencil sharpener so Tara lent me hers. It looks like a double sided triangle so i opened one end and-wait. i must tell you that this is the biggest fail ever-so i opened one end and saw a coloured pencil tip in the end and though to myself "this must have another side for normal pencils" so turned it over. As i was doing so, i though "this is going to suck if this isn't" but i didn't get to finish the though. All of the pencil shaving erupted out of the sharpener and all over me and my everything. i stood up and demanded that Tara "fix it" and she did. After a bout of laughter though. We arrived at the ferry terminal and got on the bus. We got to the sky train station and met up with Curtis, who's ribs i broke with a hug, and went on to meet up with Marcus and one of his friends.

We met up with Marcus and his friend and all split up, me and Curtis went to go explore and Tara and Marcus went off to do who know what. Me and Curtis went exploring the Vancouver area to burn off time until his friend Max woke up (which he woke up too late for us to go over to his house anyways) and ended up going between the bay center and sears like 42 times. it was crazy. And for awhile, there was this old man stalking us. it was terrifying. A really weird coincidence happened too. out of all of Vancouver, the one person we both saw was someone i knew from the island that i work with. Crazy, i know. So we spent all day doing that, and it was amazing. I really wanted to buy a book but i didn't. it was sad. But so fun!

PURPLE! you don't get it, but that's ok. somebody will.

well that was my AMAZING LURASP sunday!! Until next time! Adios!
